Abby was first introduced to cross-cultural missions as a freshman in high school after traveling to Monrovia, Liberia. Her heart for people and her passion for learning about other cultures has led her to many short-term service trips across the U.S., Central America, Asia, and East Africa. ⁠

After spending a summer working for a nonprofit in Ethiopia and connecting with many local business owners and entrepreneurs, Abby’s eyes were opened to the way business can promote sustainable economic growth and lasting change in communities. This experience led her to Lipscomb University where she received her degree in Missional Entrepreneurship, met Lauren, and eventually co-founded Kindred Exchange.

Abby has experience working for nonprofits, churches, missions organizations, and social impact businesses. She also is the founder and CEO of Ember Designs, a holistic brand and web design agency. She is passionate about working with entrepreneurs to put visuals to their God-given visions.
