The imposter syndrome is setting in.
You know that a business or a nonprofit is your next step forward in your ministry, but your skills don’t feel related to what you need to get this machine moving.
Where do I start?
How should I legally register?
What is the best way to track finances?
Is my business model going to work?
What if this fails?
WHAT IF I FAIL?
We've been there too. But here's what we believe...

MODULE 1 | Abby Littlefield
Branding & marketing
As the Creative Director for Kindred Exchange, Abby is to blame for all the aesthetic beauty you see flowing through our website and online channels. She has worked with multiple startups to create branding packages and strategic marketing tools to make sure all the outward facing pieces of an organization are really showing out and drawing people in.
Abby will be working with you throughout the entire coaching semester, touching base with you each month to talk through the visual components of your ministry. Whether you need a complete build-out, a tweak here or there, or a rebrand, Abby will deliver a guaranteed beautiful website, branding kit, and focused marketing strategy to meet your specific needs.
Dates: Entire Semester (August 24 - December 7)
MODULE 2 | Dr. Aaron Wheeler
Aaron spent 7 years living in East Asia where he lived and breathed the challenges of running an organization cross-culturally. With a PhD in Intercultural Studies, he’s ready to walk with you through your mission and vision...it’s his sweet spot as an Enneagram 1!
Aaron’s sessions will pack a 1,2-punch of mission modeling, exploring how your purpose aligns with the concepts of mission as well as recognizing what God is already doing in the place and among the people you serve.
Dates: August 24 - September 14
MODULE 3 | Rob Touchstone, MDIV
Rob can fill out business canvases in his sleep. An unconventional (but natural) entrepreneur, Rob found his way to the business world after 16 years in pastoral care. He learned business through practice when he launched The Well Coffeehouse in Nashville, Tennessee (now with 5 locations).
Rob will walk you through the critical questions of your business or nonprofit design to make sure money will flow through your outreach channels. You’ll really love seeing ALL your plans on a single, one-page canvas!
Dates: September 21 - October 12
MODULE 4 | Dr. Lauren Pinkston
The big question Lauren always likes to ask is, But will this last? She holds a PhD in International Family and Community Studies, but during her 5 years in SE Asia she learned that all the books in the world can’t teach what the people in front of you can.
As you consider your hopes and dreams, Lauren will ask you the hard questions to make sure you have a way to see those plans through for years to come without burning out in your passion.
Dates: October 19 - November 9
MODULE 5 | Dr. Julio Rivas
Finances & Reporting
Julio’s personality makes the impossible, possible -- he makes spreadsheets fun! We aren’t quite sure what kind of people pursue a doctorate in finance, but we’re glad Julio is in our circle.
Besides some cat memes and endless jokes, you’ll get to explore your financial tracking structure of your organization and learn how to stay organized and purposeful as stewards of sacred dollars.
Dates: November 16 - December 7
Lauren is like a magnet and you’re just drawn to her; wanting to be in her inspiring, life-giving presence and learning from her vast knowledge and experience. Working with her and wrestling with questions like sustainable development, ethics and keeping a kingdom perspective is such a privilege!
Magda P., Southeast Asia
