Marcy is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). She graduated from Harding University with her BBA, Vanderbilt University with her MAcc, and University of North Carolina at Charlotte with her DrBA. She practiced accounting for 7 years and has been teaching at Lipscomb University for the past 5 years. Her accounting research is focused on ethical/social responsibility of for-profit organizations. 

Marcy lives in Nashville, TN with her husband, two kiddos, and one dog named Rocket. She is active in Freedom Prayer ministry, a Big C non-profit ministry headquartered in Nashville. Marcy aligns with the mission of Kindred Exchange through her passion for bringing freedom to captives through business/entrepreneurship.
